Cd Player/radio Question-problem

tried to put in a cd, hit the load button- display said initializing and then went to cd error. its a 6 disc indash alpine--any thoughts??

mine does that every once in a while. i usually hit the panel on the right sideof the unit. Not the actual cd player but the trim around it, the dash board trim or whatever, a couple good hits and it works! sorry not too high tech but i think that the insides get all dusty and dont function correctly

Is it a burnt cd with a home made label?


Also some cd's both burnt and original vary very slightly in thickness, lots of issues happen with the thickness of cd's in some players

I've had this problem also. Look in the slot if you can see the cd lightly press
down on the top oc it may allow it to eject. Also try turn it off/on to clear the error.
