CD changer INOP

The radio says I have no CD in the changer when in fact it was full, I was just driving down the road and all of a sudden it switched over to the radio and I get the CD player to work any more.

Anyone else have anything similar? I tried reloading the CD’s and cleaning out the changer but still no workie?

I don’t really care about a new sound system right now so I just want to stick with stock for now, I have a few extra changers I was thinking about installing but I was just wondering if there was an easier fix.

Did you check the interface cable on the changer?

I guess it might have come lose, I will check after work.

mine doesw that from time to time also, I find if I suck it with a shop vac, and push in and eject the cartrege it will work for awile, I can get mine to read burnt cds
