Caught this in Road&Track magazine

Buy a set and let us know, in the meantime I'll stick with my stock ones.
 
Just as is true of fuel injection, 'band width' will ultimately become a single event due to the time necessary to create an on-and-off cycle. I'd say they're a gimmick.

better sparks will give you better power. until your car is burning 100% of its fuel... which its not... then improving spark will always improve performance. however just a new set of plugs will provide a negligble amount of improvement. new coils on these plugs with a new plug and a new intake.... you'll start to feel more changes. unless your plugs are old and dying upgrading your spark plugs won't give you much of a boost without other upgrades.. plugs are kind of a piggyback upgrade... needs other upgrades to make it really noticeable. i'm very pro-spark upgrades though, in my last car (88 camaro --- and it was FI) the plugs were one of my last upgrades but it made a big seat of the pants pull difference. but again i did cap, coil, rotor, wires... and plugs. after intake and exhaust.
 
note: i said improving plugs are a good idea... how much this plug actually works however... the jury is still out on.

burning fuel more efficiently and thoroughly increases TQ. more complete combustion = more TQ
 
Looks like they just have an extra spark gap inside. The end result is less energy delivered to the spark in the cylinder. I wonder if they wouldn't also cause failsafe mode to be trigger due to the extra EMI that they are likely to produce? If they worked, the car makers would be using them.

that doesn't always apply. for a 5 dollar resistor that would give you "80 hp and 50% more mpg" like you see on ebay or the intake tornado which are a $3 p.o.s. to produce-- yes. then the mfr would put it in the car. but gotta think volume, if the car runs with an average cheap spark plug and they can save $10 per plug per car? you can bet yer bottom you're getting 3 less hp and a cheaper plug. again i'm just playing devils advocate i personally think these seem a rather suspicious. if you want a good plug go platinum or iridium
 
We've been over these before. Until someone tries them and records a gain on a dyno we don't know if they'll work as advertised. My guess is, they don't.
