My 03 ls has wood trim interior. I'm thinking of wrapping it with red 3m carbon fiber. Or open to the possibility of plasti dip with clear coat. Anyone done either?

I've been experimenting with plasti dip on my wood grain trim I've done black, camo tan and the copper metalizer on top of black thinking of trying the camo brown next

haven't used a top coat on any the black and tan were a matte finish I did buy the glossifier but thought the matte finish looked ok the copper metalizer has a glossy finish to it already the piece it tan now going to see how the copper looks on top of the lighter color and application is simple just make sure to clean the surface with some alcohol and don't over spray and run the product took a few tries to get it right but the good thing about the dip is u can peal it right off and start over again watched lots of youtube vids to see what was involved

I see a lot of ppl say the plasti dip shows scratches and rub marks easily

dunno about that I did notice it was real tacky feeling even the next day but its been on that piece for a while now and feels better as far as scratch's maybe they just was stingy and didn't put on enough coats I had the first light coat then 3 heavy coats on it so it was kinda thick on there I mean they dip entire cars that last for a long time so who knows only way to know is order a can or two and try and see for urself its temporary and u can always go back

You know anything about exterior paint? I'm going to paint my handles red. I originally planned to black it out but I'm thinkin of a red and black theme now.
