check all fuses in all locations for opens

i checked all the fuses (both the front and rear fuse boxes), none are blown. but the Fuse box under the hood can be rocked side to side (left to right) a little, and it can be moved vry slightly front to back. I also tried jump starting the car by hooking it to another car and by a battery charger/jump starter and it didnt do anything. i also noticed i dnt hear any pumps or anything kick on (no sounds) when i hav the key in the "run" position. But my cd player, in the glove box, is jamed, i can see that the trays for disks 5 and 6 are out and when i push the "eject" button tray 2 just goes in and out and wnt play any disks nor will it eject now.

more fuses

there is another fuse box in passenger kick panel with more fuses check it out also

i've seen that one, by which i mean i took the outer cover off to see the black fuse cover, but how do u take the black fuse box cover off?

My suggestion is that since she was at fault and she (or her insurance) will be paying for the damage. If you have a reputable body shop in mind, have it towed there and have the shop deal with it. If the body shop can't or doesn't do the electrical repairs, they will have the car shipped to your favorite technician at her cost. No sense in you spending time trying to solve a problem that someone else will pay to have solved for you. Just my $0.02

The tow truck didnt arrive at the accident site untill about 7:30/8:00 at night on sunday, so we had it tow to my house that way we wldnt hav to worry about where it was and it get broken into. if it wld of been anyother day of the week, and earlier in the day we probly wld of had it taken to a shop. my gf's dad has a tuck and has a trailer (bought 2nd hand) to haul cars on it, but all it has is a hand winch (a crank type) and we'd rather not mess w/ having to do all the cranking required to put is on the trailer.

yes, let the shop fix it

if her insurance is good, just let the shop fix everything and don't worry about it. a new fender, bumper cover, small stuff underneath and new battery, paint, you're good to go! Nice color car by the way!

thanks : )

and they are going fixit most-likely, i dnt see why they wld call it totaled. we only want it to start. Also the color is what caught our eyes and drew us to the car, we traded a 2000 Mustang GT Conv. 5-speed manual in for it. the LS is suppost to tick over to 150k in about 100 miles, but that V8 is/was still vry strong.

150K just in time for tranny fluid change ;)

Really? I didnt kno that, i know when we got the car ~3 years ago, the owner b4 us (the 1st owner) had just had all the fluids and all of that stuff done to the engine just b4 they traded it in

if your gonna hit 150k miles havethe timing chain tensioners chesked. I just had mine go an destroy the engine. I have a new engine going in this week.

they picked up the car this morning to take it to the local shop, Abra Auto Body & Glass, Im going in on either tuesday or wed, to see wat they are going to say for a price and have them check out some other stuff, i'll ask and see if they will check that stuff out, as long as they hav alrdy sent an estimate to usaa for fixing it. we cannot afford for them call it totaled, and if we bring up stuff after its sent it, they are less likely to total it because they where nt expecting it.
