Can you put Bluetooth in car for Cell phone. In the Lincolns Ls V8 car. Is this car compatible with bluetooth chip so youcan talk through the speakers of your car: anybody?

hey anybody know what it will cost me to get automatic starter in my 02 lincoln ls? and where can i get it done...im from MA in cityo f Westboro?

Yes, you can add an adapter to the factory radio. Ford even offers a Motorola kit for this. Search for some of my previous responses/threads for details on adding the Parrot kit. The factory radios have a cell-phone audio input. I have this in both of my LS's.

the motorola kit is very easy to install but comes with a big speaker that is hard to find a place to mount it, this is the kit i installed into my 2nd LS with 1 small mod instead of using the speaker that came with the kit i hooked it up to the speaker on the left side of the trans hump the you can mute the radio your self with the button on the steering wheel or you can use a relay to automaticly disrupt acc power from the radio, the only downside is no display you can get this from best buy for $200 installed w/out mute $240 w/mute

the parrot unit i had in my first ls, harder to install but has a lcd display and automaticly mutes the stereo except for the subs:confused: (which can be fixed with a couple of relays:) ) for about $240 or $300 with the subs muted as well

There is no need to use the speaker with the Motorola kit. If you buy the wiring harness from Ford (about $50), it feeds the audio into the factory radio. It also pauses the CD player while you are talking on the phone.

If you have the factory head unit, then you don't need any relays to kill the subs. Just route the cell phone audio into the two inputs for it on the radio, and wire the mute output from the phone into the phone input on the radio. (The Parrot wiring harness does not come correctly set up for this.) When done correctly, the radio will say "phone" while a phone call is made. The CD player pauses and all other audio stops. The volume of the phone call is controlled by the radio volume knob, and cell phone audio comes out of all speakers, including the subs.

my kit goes through the cars speakers not an added one. i have to use the audio/mute button though when i talk or i could just leave the radio on. my audio comes through the 2 front drivers speakers.

joegr, do you have a part number for that Ford wiring harness? Also, do you have a link to a howto, or possibly some directions on getting it all working with a Motorola phone?

I can't find the e-mail where I ordered it, but I think the part number was 3W4Z14A411AA.
I got it from Max (Five Star Ford), one of the vendors on the site here.
Ford called the option "Mobile-Ease."
