Can you mix Ceramics in frt. and Semi met. in rear?

I just upgraded from $17 front pads to $37 dont have a clue what there made up

If you don't know what they are...how you know its an upgrade? Could have paid $20 more for the same pad, ceramics for our cars are generally about $60 a set

Cause I know what I bought...the $17 pads on my drilled rotors barely lasted 15,000 miles...and the pads which we install on all our previously owned vehicles are napa's economy line and have had very decent life and no noises and only some dust ...also parted ways with those noisy as hell drilled rotors for some plain Jane rotors

If I ever went a different route, I would just do the Cobra hub swap altogether. The tiny brake system on these cars (single piston calipers and small rotors) is what sucks. Too much car, not enough brake. At least from my experience. And the faster you go down the strip, the faster you need to stop. My brakes suffer extreme wear every time I am at the track slowing down from over 100mph.

My brakes generally last about a year and that is it.

Please keep in mind, if you do any crooked track running, the ceramics recover from heat cycles much quicker. Therefore, if you get any heat fade, the next application of braking will introduce a bias change. If you know that and are prepared for it, no big deal.
