I have a crack in my front bumper and a light scrape? At least I think that's what it is. I put my hand on the surface and it doesn't appear to be a scratch because the surface is completely smooth, but the paint is missing.

Are these expensive fixes?

well having it repainted can repair the top picture as long as the plastic is not damaged

but the crack is a lot worse, you could probably attempt to repair it but it gonna be tough to get it looking halfway decent, your probably just better of getting a new bumper cover... also looks like there may be damage to the chrome strip as it pulls away from the bumper cover toward the center of the headlight.

It can be fixed. The cover should be removed and the crack plastic welded and reinforced with mesh on the back side. If the scrape doesn't grab your fingernail, chances are it will polish up nicely. It may just be a paint transfer. If it were my car, I'd spray a little carb cleaner onto a rag and try to wipe it off. Work quickly and if the paint gets soft stop.

I would think a new cover would be cheaper.......
