Can Gen1 tail lights be baked?

Does anyone know if the sealant used will allow the tail lights to be disassembled when heated? I want to do neat things with them.

HEY ! ! I came back thinking that I there was an answer. I wanted to put horizontal light rods going through the tail lights.

Yeah, but I was gonna build my own. I did it in '01 on my Fiero. Those tail lights just snapped apart so easily.

there is a member who did something along those lines. i'm sure someone has it saved somewhere, hopefully they can chime in. just make sure you take your time and do it right the first time.

They have to be cut. Each bowl has to be cut apart also. If not, you snap the whole thing.
