Camshaft Sensor Help

I have a camshaft sensor CEL. I need help on how to locate and how to replace my old camshaft sensor. Any special steps I need to carry out? This is my first post and I appreciate any help.

I have a 2000 Lincoln Ls, with the V8 engine.
As for the code, I accidentally threw away the printout from auto zone but it said the cause of the code is to due with the camshaft sensor. I will take it in and get the code again tomorrow for more clarification.

The noticeable problems include:
lengthy start time
Rough idle
Engine stalls and will shut off at low speeds and stop signs
Problems accelerating and will stall/shutdown at speeds 40-50 mph
If forced to accelerate the engine will shutdown at higher speeds
Noticeable more exhaust
