Camed ,stalled ,sprayed 05 LS2 GTO vs blown ,stalled 98 Mark VIII LSC

I'm looking at some 245/50/16 Nitto DR's.... I don't think I'm gonna be able to hook after gears and a converter...
 
Forget the Nitto drag radials, get the Toyo drag radials 255/50/16 or the Mickey Thompson drag radials.

I agree with you Tommy the rules are there for a reason.

That isn't even counting what that launch is doing to the unibody.
A cage ties it together.
One day after a hard launch the car will do something funny because something got bent, its only a matter of time.

when I sprayed my mustang, the damn bottle was always empty.. except when I just left the place that I got it filled..(lol)

That was like a bad crack habit, 80-100.00 per weekend.
I've still got a kit in the closet that I have been refraining from putting on the Lincoln..because I cant afford to keep the damned bottle filled..HAHA

While it IS a non flammable gas, it's still a compressed gas cylinder and precautions should be taken.

You talk about heat in the trunk.. on my mustang it was in the hatchback and in direct sunlight.. and it was on the drivers side of the car with the valve of the bottle pointing right at the back of my head.
AHH.. to be YOUNG AND DUMB again...lol

My SVO used to pitch both tailight lenses out on the starting line when I launched it at 6500RPM's... I used to have a video of it... it was pretty funny.
 
Yeh the spray is a good time but costly like you mentioned. I've been freezing the the bottle prior too top off and drive to the "place" with it in a 5 gallon bucket of ice. I've been told that on the refill 13 pounds goes in. So all the more reason to going have some fun right away. $6-7 is getting high. So its in th ebasement right now. BUT ITS SO FUN

That was the first run I just posted videos that way . Intake temp sensor popped out of the intake pipe and car was bleeding boost .He still beat the fastest import that was out there that day :D
 
Yea too bad the civic out trapped him that run. He's gonna brag to his buddies now that he can beat the 11 second Mark VIII from a roll...
