Been on site for awhile now and have found any question i have needed answered in forum's. This is my first post though so bear with me.
problem is a 2000 Lincoln LS with chrome five spoke 17" stock rim's. I am about to install new rotor's as well as stop-tech SS brake line's. The caliper's on my car look 15 year's old even with only 68,000 original miles. I have seen Lincoln LS caliper cover's on E Bay and want them but the clearance between rim and caliper is very tight. Can't i find a spacer somewhere versus the expensive wheel adapter ? All adapter's i have seen are 1.5 in width . Although not sure of clearance needed i am sure i don't need that much viewing other caliper cover's. Any help or advice appreciated.
