I'm looking for a new caliper bracket for my mark. The pins are frozen in place and I don't want to muck up the bracket removing them. Have tried all means to remove and they are rusted solid. I'm looking for left rear bracket and pins.
Thank you for your help

the same thing happened on mine.....I took it to autozone, trying to find the parts, and they took it the back and came back with it apart. I think they put the pin in a vice and then hit the bracket with a hammer and it came out. Probably used PB blaster too.

You might try that.

Torch it! Heat up the area outside the bolt so the hole expands, but not the bolt. Basically work fast so the heat does not transfer to the bolt.

The opposite can work too. Heat the bolt up, it will expand fast and break the bond, let it cool and try taking it out. Both methods have worked for me MANY times.

Thanks for the info. Have tried the torch with no luck but will give it another shot. Thanks also for the contact for replacement.
