Ok guys, I've taken a few nice pictures here n' there since April when I got my former black on black Mark painted. Now as usual, I ask for your help. It's time to vote for the best looking picture to place in the 2014 calendar entry. Any & all help is greatly appreciated. If it was your car, which picture would you want to see in that calendar? I know each of us have different tastes. Take backgrounds into consideration, angles, etc... Don't just vote to vote. I'm not a pro when it comes to photography but I try my best. Your opinion counts. Thanks ahead guys.

I say #1 out of the 4. Do you have a better angle at the downtown Miami location? Something from a higher point of view?

That's exactly what I was thinking. If you can do that I'd vote for it.

I'm tellin ya alex..you need to take pictures at a different time of day to show off the blue..all of these pictures make your car look black with the sun directly above. Try some sunset pics with the sun behind your back shining on the car.

Take out the industrial front and rear and you're left with two outstanding contenders.

Ok guys, I've gone ahead & replaced the picture. I have to agree. That's why I openned this thread. I open my arms to different points of views.

I have... Unfortunately the camera just doesn't do the paint any justice. Whether I do it with the phone or with my 10 megapixel camera. This picture below is the only picture that I've been able to take that truly depicts the real colors of the car. I've done it so much & frankly I'm tired. Only way you can see the real colors is specifically parking underneath a car port or parking garage up against the edge where the sun seeps in & shines against the car. It does something to the camera lens that brings out the colors. I've played with the camera settings to no avail. Let it be known... Remember, this isn't standard Mark VIII blue. This blue is SUPER, SUPER dark. I mean, REALLY dark guys. You'd have to see it in person to understand what I'm talking about. That's why I chose this color. It's just amazing on the car.

That's what the votes are for. We shall see what happens.
;)

I voted #4 cause its the best "picture"
I liked 2 and 3 a lot but the lighting was off on both and 3 is a little to far away and looks out of focus
Posable dirty lens?

Alex that pic under the car port is what I'm talking about..looks like early morning with the sun at your back shining on the side of the car..that's the angle that shows off the color.

Problem is, if I take the picture under the sun with no car port... It looks like this:

This picture was taken at 9:30am after I dried up the car. You can see some blue but it's so dark that it's not worth going crazy about sun rise/sun set pictures.

Try shooting in the open shade or on an overcast day. The problem you are having is that the car is being under exposed by your camera because you are shooting in full sunlight.
