Cabin Filter for 04 LS

Just recently bought a 04 LS, but have been playing with all the buttons and toys. On the status menu it says the AC Filter is at about 30%, and i believe that would be the cabin filter?? I have checked and searched the forum for things about this but havent came up with very many if any at all. Just wondering were I would be able to find a replacement filter and put it in my self....??

nvm i found it all.. sorry for the extra thread... anyone have the part number for the filters??

Not off the top of my head but I suggest getting the activated carbon ones. They do work well.

EDIT: Bosch... part #(C3789).

The activated charcoal will help with odors as well as particulates.

There is a difference between 1st and 2nd gen filters.

the first gen has the rounded edges and the second gen has the regular square edges?? or is the otherway around... and i can go to autozone and pick up that filter?? Thanks:shifty:

i have a 2nd gen and autozone told me that they did not carry it, had to go to the dealer ~$25~

The 2nd gen is a true rectangle and the 1st gen has a notched corner.

Check Ebay, they have them all the time.

Just reset the info center, cabin filter should go 16K depending on the environment you live in and you can always just blow it out with compressed air occasionally.

Ahh, very nice infoes received, the last one that was in it was the stock filter from when the car was brand new... it was worse that the filter on the neon >.> only been in there 6 years and 75000 miles...
