Had one go bad in my 97. Look closely at the two cables that are where the motor came out of. If these gears are missing teeth, then it's time to get a whole new sunroof assy. Other than the glass, motor and motor controller, you have to get the whole assy. I am going to guess but the reason that you are getting the click click click is the metal drip pan on the rear of the glass has come off on one side and it jams up the whole works including strpping gears and breaking the cable mounts where they go into each rail. That's what happened to mine before I got it. I just got a roof assy from a 97 bird and it works great until someone borrowed the car and dislodged the drip rail and jammed it again.
