Got a code P0420 so i'm going to replace my cat converters (car's over 100k, might as well do both to avoid problem in the future). Does anybody have any ideas about whether or not these options will truly be direct fit and/or if they will be reliable? Also, does anybody have a suggestion on where to buy O2 sensors? Gonna need them when I replace the cats. Thanks for looking guys.

Thanks Guys !!!

I searched and got my o2's for cheap off of Amazon, they promptly raised the price right after though I'm sure it was an error. I decided to go with magnaflow 2.5" cats with preinstalled o2 bungs to go with my 2.5" catback. I haven't had them welded in yet though. The LSes cats are actually turned upward so I'm going to have the 2.5" pipe custom done to replace the current ones. The only direct replacements for the LS I've seen come with the entire pipe from the manifolds back. Here is a picture of one pulled from an LS:

It should work from the looks of it. That's basically what I'm going to have to do for mine. Anyone know where I can get the piece that connects to the manifolds? Or the prebent pipe? Maybe I can just weld it myself.

I bought universal magnaflows with the preinstalled bungs because I wanted them to match my 2.5" cat back and go with 2.5" pipe back from the exhaust manis. Anyone know the exhaust pipe length and bend measurements?

It would not surprise me to find out that all of these are made by the same company. Some one supplies them for Ford, so it has to o of the above.

looks like im going to buy "Eastern Catalytic Converter" ( <- thats the company name) cat converters for my 2000 v6 tonight. Anybody ever buy from carpartswholesale.com ? They got the cheapest price, I can get 2 cat convertes for $462. The other site options are partstrain.com , autopartswarehouse.com , and carstuff.com . I read a couple reviews about autoparts ware house and they were not good. Anybody ever bought from any of those sites before? Just trying to make sure I get good parts and they don't screw it up.

Ok I just pulled the trigger and bought 2 " Eastern Cat Company" converters for just over $500 with shipping included. They say shipping is 7-9 days, I hope that they show up and they are the right parts. Thanks for your help guys.

Exceptional, how did the purchase turn out? I am getting close to needing to order some cats and thought I would see how your purchase went. Thanks

I got the cats in about 3 days, I didn't buy 02 sensors. The 2 cats I bought from here, (if you order, the left and right are different part numbers so be careful you dont order 2 of the same ones)

however I think i'm gonna jump on the "buy a car while everybody is going out of business" train, so I'm probablly not going to put them on, ill probablly just trade the car in as is and get something new. If your looking for a sale, Ill give you my 2 cats still in the box and an xbox 360 for $600 bucks. (Im trying to sell my xbox) or Ill sell you the cats for like 400 you pay for shipping.
