buying another mark

so i looked at a 94 yesterday blk/blk with woodgrain. 9mm ford racing ignition wires, smoothed intake tube, sct chip 16" cougar xr7 rims. new starter new fan, new other stuff i forget what. but the car overheats(doesnt piss coolant) and has no powersteering. it runs and drives fine before it overheats oh and its j modded. the interior is in eh.. OK shape not hte best guy was asking 1500 then 1200 now 1000 imma offer him 600 see if he takes it. oh it has 232km on the clock and everything works except the cupholder/ashtray. oh and it has painted trim and two brand new headlight housings

think i should buy it?

Depends on the condition, have a pic of it? I would think about how much it would cost me to get it in shape, respectable that is.

Hell yeah if you can talk him down. I would be concerned though of under belly rot. Interior definitely needs some work, and there is something hanging out of the hood above the D/S headlight.

first thing I would check is the coolant res cap...I bet it is defective.

the pressure cap on the overflow bottle...mine was defective once and I had the same problem he is describing.

Me too. If you go check it out, look a. The cap and see if it has a bulge in it. If so, it's very likely to be the cap.

Yeah true i tightened it before I went for the drive and then took it off and it was just as tight and it's rotted all the way through both sides under the rear windows
