Buying an LS

Everything is ready for our truip down to Florida to trade in the S40 for the LS. It is a V6 and we decided to go with that mostly because of the difference in insurance. We found out it has a warranty until Feb 09 and has 14K miles left on that. Here is a picture:

That's a good lookin LS, looks like the base model, but hey that's a good deal on a fresh car. Sunroof would have been cool, but that's ok. Just get some decent wheels later and you are fixed.

Yea, also the 03+ V6 is pretty nice to drive, I did drive once.

P.S. I actually prefect the non sport 03-05 bumper over the sport 03-05 bumper, because those chrome peices are really neat and flowing in nicely, unlike the 00-02 non-sports where the chrome seams to come from nowhere.

Here from Autospectator.com:

"V-6 Appearance Package adds or replaces: Auto-dimming interior rearview and exterior driver mirrors with approach lamps, Homelink®, power lumbar support, memory for driver seat, steering wheel, adjustable pedals and exterior mirrors, body-color monochromatic bumpers, color-keyed grille surround with chrome vertical bars, color-keyed rear license plate surround, unique 16-inch seven-spoke polished aluminum wheels and a Soundmark Audiophile six-disc CD changer with 12 speakers and satellite radio compatibility."

Thanks guys I appreciate it. Do many of you guys do meets around ATL, I've read a few posts about them, are there many of you near ATL?

There's always the Southern Super Heavy Shootout in Commerce. I've been to it the last 3 years (05 and 06 with my 87, this past one with my LS).

I'll post up when and if they decide to do an SSHS8.
