Freaking Glorified Sport Harleys... GROSS!!!!

Glorified? I have a 00 X1 Lightning, 104hp@ the wheel, it is not a slouch by any means. (click the link in my sig for pics)

The new Buells are engeneering genius, gas tank in frame to lower center of gravity, oil tank in swing arm, again to lower gravity, and muffler under bike for even weight distribution.

As far as Im concerned, Honda, Suziki, and Kawasaki have been building the same crap for the past 15+years, Im glad to see the innovations, no matter if Harley is the one making them.

Yeah, that is what my friendly neighborhood Crotch Rocket riders used to think. The would smoke me block to block. They would even take me in the quarter by a little. But they couldn't take me in the twisties. These bikes are made to take corners at breakneck speeds and they do. Young kid up the block with a highly modified Suzuki GSXR, beautiful bike. Always wanted to race. Kept putting him off. Then one day I relented, but only if it were two races. One was to be a 1/4 mile on US 30. The other was to be on my favorite twisty road. He took me in the 1/4 by about 5 lengths. I took him on the twisty by over 1/4 mile. That bike was like a slot car. I miss that bike so much that I am getting a new one this year. Tired of cruisers.

Hmmm...

Then why hasn't BUELL won ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!

Yeah made for the twisties if the other guy has no idea how to ride!!!

BUELL are CRAP and will continue to be CRAP. They are trying to cut into a market where the cannot be competitive. They have no styling, not enough power and cannot reach the limits like the new bikes in their market can.

Harley is coming to that gun fight with a freaking tooth pick.
