Broken balljoints pics different vehicle

Lux was asking for broken ball joint pics. I couldn't find any of the Mark VIII with the time I had, but someone sent me these.

The Mark VIII is not the only car that breaks ball joints.

They use a portal independent design, it actually puts a lot of strain on the outer suspension due to how heavy everything from the bj out is...

yeah but thats what usually happens to any car when it drops the lower, wheel moves out and back violently!

Yup, broken lowers suck ass. This my friends car from another site. Just happened a couple months ago.

So when you hear that tell tail sound its far better to buy that $40 part and take a couple hours of your time to install it. If you wait till it breaks then it will be over $300 to fix with towing, balljoint, alignment (cause that kinda brak tweaked the steering) and whatever else it tweks like the new tire with the flat spot or the fresh ripple in the fender.
