Broke Into My Car Last Night!! Damage Done Stuff Stolen!!!

LAST NIGHT THEY FINALLY GOT ME!!! broke into my car, took my radio, my subs, and 3 amps. they messed up the leather around the radio when they pried it open. they made a hole on the drivers side door under the door handle and got it open. what i dont understand is how they did it without my car alarm going off. its the stock one but still now when i check to make sure that it activates it wont go off. is there a way to override it?

That's why I still haven't installed my DVD navi system yet. I should probably just do it because otherwise it's just going to sit in my room and collect dust. Then if it get's stolen then I'll just buy a stock deck and put it in.
