Brand new oil pan leaking :(

Good news, the pan showed up today!!! :D

I went in to ask about it and they said they had not heard anything yet. I figured 'great, now starts the delays till we figure it's not going to be available anymore!', but then a couple hours later I got a call saying it was there!

Bad news is I have to put it in this weekend, lol... :eyeroll:

Got the new pan installed in record time (for me) :)
I then got the idea that I'd fix the trans cooler lines that were leaking, which turned into a bigger pita than the oil pan job, lol... After running aroung to get the right hose and fittings, I figured I'd be fine not taking the front bumper cover off like I did to install the cooler. Bad choice as I couldn't reach the fittings without cutting up my hands good on the ac condenser and the cooler! I picked up some Swagelok fittings to connect the Parker pushlok hose to the factory steel lines. I was amazed at how great the customer service was at Swagelok and products are very high quality (unlike the crappy single ferrule ones I had in there that leaked.) The pusklok hose on the other hand was a hugh pita to put together, you can not do them with the lines in the car! I had to pull them out and do them on the bench, and the guys at Fluidline even installed a couple of them for me!
It's all good now though it looks like, no more leaks :D
