brake upgrade?

did the ls come with a brake upgrade option? I ask this because i have had two places try to put a 16 inch wheel on my car once for a set of winter wheels and another time after a blowout and both places said my brakes were too big to clear that small of a wheel. The sticker inside the door even says a 16 inch tire

No OEM upgrade, same brakes for the 16" & 17". After market big brake upgrade but you need 18" plus.

They're trying to put the wrong size wheel on the car. Most likely the offset isn't right I am guessing. I'm sure someone else knows better. But a stock 16" LS wheel should bolt right on.

Right, a 16" stock LS wheel will fit no problems.
