Brake sensitivity

Hey guys, Have a question regarding the brakes on my 00 LS8. The brake pedal seems more floppy than eny other car I'v driven. In other words, when i push on my break pedal, there is a couple inches of slack befor it starts breaking. How do I make it more sensitive, so it starts breaking as soon as I press the pedal? I just got new rotors, and the break pads are fairly new as well, so I know its not that.

Any help would be cool.

One thing is to get some Stainless Steel Braided brake lines.

Ken (GrayGhost1) sells them on his website www.lskoncepts.com.

And Lou (QuikLS) did an awesome write up w/ photos on how to do it.

I've read that putting on the SS lines firm up the response alot.

First try bleeding all four wheels then go with what NickLS said.

mine does that and i just got new pads and rotors

Keep in mind... it is a Ford product... you'll never get rid of all of the take-up in the brakes. It's just they way they're built. But the things already mentioned will help.
