brake noise

I have a 2000 LSV8. I recently changed the rotors and pads and they squeal terrible. I have tried two sets of pads and they both squeak badly. I tried the brake quite compound that you spread on the back of the pads and it didn't even phase it.

Any suggestions I am getting desperate

What brands are you using?

I think the rotors are powerslot and the newest pads I am using are wagner super quiet or ultra quiet something like that.

Are the pads ceramic or semi-metallic?
