My brake fluid tank is leaking through the cap any one know where to get one, or what years, and other cars they are compatible with?

i have filled it to the mark, then a couple of weeks later i notice the brakes are a little soft, check the level and it's a little more than half full. but the brake fluid container is covered in brake fluid. any specific year?

odd, most all fords are the same, truck most car, if it looks the same it should fit

Are you missing the seal? Other than it spilling over, there should never be any pressure inside.

Pinched line maybe? Sound’s like pressure is building and coming back to the reservoir. But I think there are check valves in the master cylinder? Right, haven’t taken one apart in for ever?
Have you slammed on the brakes really hard lately of go over some nasty pot holes?

Brakes work fine so I'm doubting its the brake lines. There are some speed bumps I have to over to get to my girlfriends house
