Brake Bracket question?

Warning: Stupid question below.

Ok, well as some of you know the bracket for my front brakes won't let my wheels slide all the way onto the hub(i get a little steering wheel vibration) so i'm using a spacer. My questions is, can a shave part of the bracket so that the wheel will fit on completly w/o using the spacer? And if so how much until it becomes a safety hazard?

I warned you it was a stupid question but i want to keep my wheels if at all possible and would love to get them fully seated on the hub.

Your brake caliper is rubbing with your tire/rim combo so you want to grind off some of the caliper?

It depends were your grinding as to how far you can go.

Didn't Brad tell you to get Hub Centric spacers?
Even if you did grind and get it to fit you need Hub Centric Rings right?
So just buy the spacers.

It's not grinding w/ anything with the spacer on.

Just the front of the bracket that goes around the caliper. Not sure as of yet how much i'd have to take off but i'm positive that it would still have 3/4's left, no less.

And yes he did, but thats before i figured out that the wheels are indeed hubcentric. So i cant use any type of hub centric spacer or hub centric ring.

I shaved mine down a lil for my rims. not very much tho.
