You simply cannot win this argument. An intellectual person by definition is smarter than a normal person, hence the reasoning behind creating the word to begin with. It isn't a personality, it's a measurement of intellect. I'm not accusing you of saying they're polar opposites (no idea where you got that from, and let alone what'd prove), I'm saying that you said "at least an intellectual" in comparison to a normal person (normal intelligence > intellectual intelligence) is clearly not correct. The instance of you using them in the first place shows an intent of a definitional and tangible difference. If you cannot see this, my other points in the matter are further perpetuated. One could not reasonably believe that 5 units is more than 10 units, and the same applies here.
