Blinker Cornering Lights

I wanted to rewire the cornering lights on my mark so they stay lit when the headlights are on. Does anyone know if it will burn out the chrome or melt the lenses if they stay lit for that long??

I can read street signs and see off to the side of the road better when the cornering lights are lit since i use my car to deliver pizza during the week.
