I have a 98 Mark VIII with an unusual problem. While driving and with the EATC unit off, the blend door sounds like it's operating. Not sure if I have a defective EATC unit that's powering up the blend door actuator while the display is off or if it's normal. Just wondering if anybody has had any similar problems and if it's an easy fix. Any help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Blend door works with EATC off

open the glove box, on the left side of the opening there is a relay about one inch by 1 1/4 inch, change it and i bet the eatc stops operating when is off.
