BIG N2O problem Please help me

vandarela I think you might be missing the point. with the tbw system yes it does go wot with light throttle input...and if the system is armed it would case the system to spray. so just put a switch on it and you should be all set.

This system is made for the 05 Mustang GT which is tbw, so is mine. why don't they have these problems. A window switch is going to cost alot (if thats the switch you're talking about) Plus its purpose is to have the N2O engage at a certain RPM. But still my N2O will be engaging at 1/4 throttle which is about 2000RPM... the guy who would put it in said like $500-$600 w/ install, unless its an easy instal i can do.. A guy at comp cams said it might be the TPS sensor and i might need a new one, but the way i see it is if it is the tps sensor then it would be messed up on a regular tune, right?

I dont know if its possible on these cars but im kinda one of the old carb guys and i dont know if this could transfer over. But cant you just get one of those little micro switches that arms the system when the throttle linkage hits it at WOT. Something like this, http://holley.com/15640NOS.asp and just make a little bracket to hold it.

Ok guys, I took the car back to the guy who installed it. I had it set up where the WBC turns off the N2O at 12.1 and i'd go with feeling the peddle to when i wanted it to engage (which brought up the problem of 1/4 throttle)... Now he set it so the WBC lets it engage at WOT when it hits 3000RPM...and im just eyeballing the A/F guage looking for the bright red light if it goes leaner than 12.1 which then i would let off the gas. i took a run and problem solved...Thanks for all your help!!

do this. take it out on the freeway at a speed that puts you above 3000 rpms (or drop into D4) then apply just enough throttle so it doesnt downshift. your nitrous is still going to fire....
