I wouldn't trust a cable tie (catstrangler is a nickname for it in Sweden ) to hold that thing in place. Especially a white one. I don't know how it is in the US but in Sweden white ones are for indoor use and therefor is not good at all with the weather outdoors while black ones are for outdoor use. And also, no matter what cable tie they will break in the cold. Especially when they're on the contact surface with the road!
Buy winter tires instead

I wonder the legality of those up in our area, bobby. I really like those compared to traditional chains, and should do a great job.
