Im just looking at ordering a set of 4300K bulbs for my car but im not sure where the best place to buy just the bulbs is. I have allready put in a HID kit and have had the 6000k and 10000k bulbs and want something with more light on the road. Do any of the guys here sell just the bulbs? Hopefully without breaking the bank too.

LSKONCEPTS.com sells only the bulbs. Did you not like the 6k that is the color I was thinking of getting

The 6000k was pretty good, but one of the bulbs burnt out and when i replaced them i went to the 10000k bulbs and they look good but id prefer more light so i figured id try the 4300k next

I ran the 8000K, then the 6000K and now the 4300K. The 4300K is MUCH better and produces much more light than the higher Kelvin colors. Remember, the higher the Kelvin temperature bulb the lower the amount of light output. I would highly recommend that you get the 4300K bulbs.

You had a HID bulb burn out? I thought they were supposed to be good for
~2000 hours.

Actually most HID bulbs should be rated around 3200 hours. However, you can always get a bad bulb.

Is there anything that will reduce the life of the HID bulb? I.E. Turning on and off quickly?

Not that I'm aware of other than touching the glass with oily fingers.

Ken,
I bought the 9006 HID kit from you a while back and then upgraded cars... Now, the fogs are H11. Could I buy the H11 replacements and use those instead of buying a whole new kit? Or does the connection from kit to car need to be the H11?

I have the 4300k in my LS. They are bright. So bright I have had people flash their lights thinking I have my high beams on. They get a real shock when I flash my Sylvania Silver Star high beams back. :)

Yes you can get just the H11 replacement bulbs. They will fit the HID conversion kit you have. You can few the replacement bulbs here:

You may want to adjust your beam down a bit then. The HID conversion kits will produce a certain amount of glare. I had to inch mine down until it was suitable for oncoming traffic and still give me good visibility.

Ya i think i might have just had a bad bulb from the start because it wouldnt always come on, sometimes id have to turn the lights off then on again for it to turn on. But we'll see what i end up doing for lights. I just paid for my rims and tires so i might have to just make due with these bulbs for now. Ill just run them with the fog lights. lol
