I thought this would be a cool poll. There were 5 different LS configurations since 2000. My poll asks which LS was the "Best Looking LS". My vote is the 2002 LSE. Discuss why you like the one you chose.
 
02 LSE. Most unique and I believe the least produced. The monochromatic look with the ground effects just looks the best IMO.
 
I like the 04-05 LSE or 06 with different wheels. My favorite part is the front facia. Other than that I like the 00-02 LS sport because it kind of seats lower of them all and looks wider. Maybe it's an illusion, but that's what I noticed.
 
My pick is the 04-05 LSE.

The best LS would be a mutt:
04-05 LSE front bumper
02 LSE side skits and rear wing
04-05 lse rear bumper and lower skirts
04-05 LSE font grill
04-05 V8 motor
02 electronics(no CAN)
02 5-speed trans
 
I chose the 2002 LSE, it's the quintessential LS IMO. Monochromatic, no CAN, and that sweet lip spoiler.
 
i like the 06 overall, but i think the best looking is the 02 LSE, i like the pre 03 trunk lids more how the rear surround is fatter at the bottom, but gotta have the lse chromed grille along with it and no lse spoiler. :D:D
 
Hey ken you should post a picture of each year so we can get a better view of them.

I would say what ever year T-REX's is. I love his look and color.
 
Great post Ken. I am going to have to go with the 2002 LSE, I would have never bought one if I didn't think it looked the best out of all the LS'es.
 
02 LSE of course. thats what i own. ive only had it for 3 months and im already worried about what im gonna do when its gone. maybe ill find a nice 05 or something.

IMO. Thats why I have one. I held out for awhile till I finally found exactly what I wanted. I love my car.
 
I vote for the 2006. I like them b/c all of them came w/ the sport package and I prefer these stock wheels over any of the others I've seen.
 
yeah, i did the same thing. i almost couldnt believe it when i found mine. 2002 LSE 47,000miles looks like new. And it showed up at a dealership that my friend worked at. Got a great deal on it. I freakin love the car.

Remember that not all '02 LSE's came with lip spoilers (mine didn't)

I actually voted for the 04-05 LSE's even though I own an '02 LSE. I prefer the blockier more subtle look of the ground effects package on the 04-05 models and the rims are amazing.
 
the only thing i dont like about gen 2 LSs is the two tone tail lights - the extra HP is great...lol...I presonally like the 00-02 LSEs but a regular 00-02 LS is in close 2nd in my book...
 
Voted '02 LSE myself. But I do think '02 was the year of the LS, well, the top models anyway. Just something about them that I loved, especially mine when I had it. I cannot find one '02 v8 premmy around here besides an LSE that I liked more than mine though, guess the color had something to w/ it. Never was a fan of the '03+, they just looked funky to me, almost less aggressive if that makes since. Would take an '06 LSE though, they looked nice.
 
I'd like to see the difference between the 04-05 LSE and the 06 LS. I know the wheels are different but is there anything else? I really like the 06 but not the wheels.

There are three differences that I know of.

1. Different wheels from the 04-05 LSE to the 06 LS
2. No lip spoiler on the 06 LS
3. All red tail lights for the 04-05 LSE and two tones for the 06 LS.

Also, the badging is different for the 06 LS. It doesn't have LSE instead it has LS V8.
 
Anyone have the sales figures of the different LS's through the years? Just curious as to which year sold the best.
Still undecided on which to vote for, leaning towards the 02 LSE hmmmm...
 
i'm changing my decision. best looking ls in my opinion was the 04-05 LSE. yesterday i saw one in all black for the first time, and it didn't have a lip spoiler, definately looks best in my opinion. second choice would be pre 03 LSE
 
I'm w/ east coast.. The 04-05 LSE is 10x better style looking that any other model.

I hearby switch my vote
 
+1...can anyone post a series of pics of the models named in the poll for others not familliar with certain models.

These are the most Unique one in my mind, the ground effect on this one look the best...IMO
 
I vote for the 02 ls they look amazing, and when you add the 03-06 headlights watch out. :D
