I know a lot of people on here have had this common problem. I am wondering who has the best prices on these babies or rather demons....I changed out two of them yesterday cause the "stealership" said it was misfiring on 2 and 5 and found out my 2 was in good shape but maybe the coil pack was bad. Now my car has a lot more power than it did at take off but now it will not go past the 60mph range before it starts missing and about to turn off. So, I am assuming it others... so I am changing the rest and wondering who gives me the best bang for my buck...

I bought from Global Automotive off of eBay.. Awesome price and I have had them in for almost a year and it still runs excellent!

BTW.. They are coils.. COP = Coil on Plug :)

The coil is on the plug...what am I missing?

A coil pack is an assembly with two or three coils that fire four or six cylinders. Spark plug wires are required.

A COP is a single coil that fires one plug, which it is generally mounted over, and usually no spark plug wires are used.

A good source for OEM at a fair price is Max, see banner to the right.

You probably do need to change all the coils and plugs as a first step (always change the plug when you change the coil), however, your problems probably go deeper than that. Your converters may be clogging because of the misfiring.

Disregard...he was correcting the "coil pack" in the title. I was not paying attention and thought he was suggesting that the LS does not have COP. Thanks!

Yeap.. When mine was misfiring, it facked up the cats.. I had to do all the plugs, coils, VCGs, and Full exhaust.. Well the full exhaust wasn't necessary but I thought since I was down there..
