Belt Size

Autozone and Checker both list 97.5 and 98 inch versions of the gatorback belt. My mark is a 96. Which one do I need?

You can use either one. I purchased a 97.5 belt, and was just able to get it on. The 98" will just give you a hair more length. I would try the 97.5 first.

The O/E p/n is a JK6-982D list is 42.20 and cost you 24.69 plus frt.

that is a 6 rib 98.2" long to keep the tensioner in perfect adjustment.

I got the 98in. Works good. Took longer to find my breaker bar than it took to change the belt and idle pulley. Thanks guys.
