Why Americans think that VENTS is very important? In Europe nobody have vents, why you need vents if battery is in the trunk? I read in this board about vents for battery, that was first time when i saw something like that, always when checking battery i was thinking what is that black tube. Never have seen battery with vent tube, its kinda paranoid.

Yeah, I can't tell either.

I hear that a hydrogen flash fire in the cabin (which the trunk is vented to) can be very exciting for anyone not in the cabin. For those in the cabin, their estate(s) will save money on the funeral(s) as half of the cremation process will already be done.

My humi is jam packed right now. Just got a bundle of 20 super cheap (but decent) sticks yesterday. And I have 2 more boxes (not cheap, but very good) on the way from across the pond. Time to get a cooler I guess. Either that or a vinotemp.

really, thats funny because EVERY BMW with a trunk mounted battery, and EVERY mercedies with a battery under the rear seat that i have ever worked on has had a vent tube, the germans may have done some crazi sh!t in the past, but they really dont like blowing themselves up much

Besides my LS my Miata has a trunk mount battery with of course has a vent system.
