battery over winter

should i take out my battery over the winter? It will be stored for about 4 mths outside my house and 3 of the months i will be in so-cal

They make battery conditioners that maintain ta battery over an extended period of time. But if you don't want to do that then I'd just disconnect the battery, I wouldn't worry about taking it out.
