Driving my 2003 LS V8 to the post office today and I was slowing down for a red light my car chimed at me. First the batter light illuminated, followed by the Engine oil and check engine light. I still had a ways to go to the light so I gave it a little more gas and got no response. Pedal to the floor no response. Light was getting ready to turn green so I shut it off and turned it immediately back on. All the lights were gone and I made it to the post office and back without issue. Anybody have similar problems and solutions? Thinking it may all stem from the battery but really have no idea.

Your engine just died (quit running) for a second. The reason for it can be many though. Do you do routine maintenance on the car like air filter, oil changes, etc? Have any problems with the coils and valve cover gaskets yet?

Yeah, the engine died. I have the maintenance on the car done at the appropriate times. Oil was changed 6 days ago and i've probably put almost 400 miles on it since then. I have not had any problems with the coils or valve cover gaskets.

fuel filter? i'm just guessing here, there are a lot of reasons why a car would stall.

if the car started up fine, i doubt it is the battery. if there was a problem with the battery, the car should have had problems cranking over to start the second time.
