I'm trying to buy a sub off some moron from C-list. There was one pic, too far to determine any type of id. It was a tube type acrylic enclosure with two10 or 12 in subs firing into each other. Moron selling it has no idea what it is'his guy installed it and it pounds'. Can't/won't read any names off speakers of subs. Anybody know what the heck this is and if its worth getting? I was going to go with Alumipros 1-12 or 3 -10 set up. Thought the tube would be nice deep and smooth bass. I always liked my Bazooka-after I swapped out the stock sub for an earthquake. I'll be pushing anywhere from 400 to 800 watts depending what amp I go with. Any ideas or recommendations? Thanks.

Take your sub to Home Depot and buy a Sonowil paper construction tube.
They have them in various diameters and are pretty rugged.
Build up an edge along the inside ends of the tube.
Use 3" long 1 x 3/4 plywood pieces.
Glue and screw them onto the inside edge.
Fill up the gaps with bondo or adhesive.
Now you can mount a sub on each side of the tube.
Length and ports up to you.
I helped build something like this once for a guy.
Sounded good

As I recall now we traced the tube and cut 2 rings out of plywood that were then glued and stapled into the ends of the tube.
You can also pick a tube thats larger than your subs
as they only need to fit the inside of your ring.
Good luck.
