I went to autozone, got the scanner reading that shows misfire on #2 cyl. Problem I'm having is finding an engine diagram that labels the cyl. #'s. I've looked through the owners manual, and searched on the forums, just havent found anything. If someone could post the cyl #'s in relation to the engine, I'd really appreciate it.:D :D :D :D Thanks in advance.
BTW, has anyone found out if it is worth it to spend an extra $6 for the lifetime warrantied coils? Sounds like cheap insurance to me, even if you have to take the time to replace in the future, at least it's paid for. $52 (1yr) vs $58 (lifetime)?

considering that the coils for the 2000 V-8 LS P/N 2W4Z-12029-BD sell for $77.76 retail and LVC cost is $41.99 and includes the boot, I think is is not a good deal. Most here on the site have had problems with the autozone/checker/kragen coils. It is nice to have the warrantee but how many times do you want to change that coil?? Knock on wood I have not yet had to replace a coil or boot under the ford 12/12 warrantee.

As for the cylinder #'s.....I was told that #1 is the front on the pass side, American not european!! LOL and # 2 is the next in line. I spent the better part of an hour in the shop manual and could not see the cylinder designation chart either.
