How can I tell if the carrier side bearings are bad ?
I have a vibration that gives a wavering wow-wow-wow noise. Similar to the noise of an out of round tire.(the wheels and tires are fine and balanced to within 0.1 oz) It is most prominent between 45 and 65 mph, but you can feel it right on upward in speed. I have repaced the driveshaft U-Joints and both rear wheel bearing/hub assemblies.
I'm thinking either carrier bearings or maybe a half-shaft ?
