What do you guys think of these sensor for revers. I mean you have to drill the holes in the bumper. Do you think its worth it. It probably a pretty east install right?

There are tons of threads on this too - I see you're new and posting a lot of topics that have been discussed - See if you can find any of the older ones to keep all the discussion tidy in the original threads :Beer

Backup sensors are for poor drivers.
Usually little old ladies who don't know where the back end of their car is until they bump into something.

but I am a little 73yr old lady.....

seriously - my car is tinted, lowered, and has a spoiler - I always back into spots - I find the sensors useful.

I had backup sensors on my car for the longest time. I took them off and replaced my rear bumper with another one because you have to drill some nice size holes. However, Lou and I bought ours from this guy:

He is very reputable and has quick shipment. Also, the sensors can be painted if you have a different color than what is offered. I painted mine Midnight Grey Metallic and it looked good.

QUIK your son told us u were a 75 year old jezer. lol. where has he been he was here for while. are u gonna give him, ur ls and start a new one? can u show us a pic of u for REAL. were all dying

truth be known - I am the girl on the front page in the LvC shirt.

and my feelings got really really hurt over that thread about how I was trying too hard and how ugly I am......:frown:

Quik, where do you live in Austin? I'll help everyone out and try to get a pic.

I think the back-up sensors are a cool addition, however, I prefer to use my mirrors and common sense when backing up. I drive cars at the dealership I work at which come with back-up sensors, and they are nice.......but, they only tell me what I already know.

Anybody ever think of installing some on the front, so we don't bump those cement blocks, curbs, cadillac owners that our bowing down :N , any other random stuff...
