What is ideal? I have only my mufflers removed just before the y-pipe, and I have had a lot of carbon build up under my back bumper. A guy I know is saying that since I had taken the mufflers off that there was not enough back pressure for the engine to run right. I usually have to clean it every month. so it dose not build up. I have been having problems running rich allot lately, is there a way to lean out the mixture I'm all most running a 13:1 (CHEAP WAY?)

How dose some one with headers and the LMS full exhaust get away with this? With just only having the mufflers? Should I put mine back on?

Check your O2 sensors. I would'nt think that "lack of back pressure" would cause this big of a problem. Come to think of it, I would reset the computer and see if that helps.
