Back on the road!

After all of these years, I finally got my valve cover gaskets replaced. With 143K miles, this is what the mechanic found. Now, Grace is back on the road after sitting in the yard for 3 years.

A very clean engine that indicates regular oil changes. Now don't wait until those plastic tensioners come apart. Yours are already dark in color which shows they are old.

Here is an LS engine where the guy waited too long!

Note the color of the plastic in the above picture and compare that color to your tensioners.

Here is a new one and the plastic is white.
