I just got back from a service..

1) airbag light: Pigtail under the seat, not sure what it was but it got fixed.

2) Trans late shift: Updated flash, car feel so much more powerful.

3) Hydraulic fan fluid line leak: Covered under warranty and fixed.

One thing about this is that I thought the airbag light would be in the steering column but I guess I was wrong although how ever, I now am getting all the freaky things going on with the radio controls on the steering wheel.

At any given time I can push one of the buttons and its fine but then I push it again and it,.. for say...as an example changes the STEREO from CD to radio.:(

I'm almost out of miles for my warranty, I got about 500 left so I guess Ill have to see what it is and not drive the car for a bit as I am exhausted from constantly taking it in for some kind of service or another.

The airbag light is usually the connector under the sit or the clockspring in the steering column. If your buttons on the wheel don't work properly they I am guessing that it's the clockspring too. It costs about $170 I think.

I would take it back in and have them change that too till your warranty runs out.

The wiring under the seat is a known failure point due to the seat constantly moving back and forth because of the "Easy Exit" feature on the drivers seat. There is a sensor in both front seats for the airbag system, telling the PCM if anyone is sitting in the seat.

To prevent this failure from happening, either check under the seats to make sure the wiring & connector are free, with enough play, and/or disable the exit feature on your message center panel.
