Well I (Dr.Mark) have been a member here for awhile but some asshat wanted my phone more than I did so I've been without a replacement and no access to the email associated with me here.
My 98 LSC and 02 LS have been keeping me busy though, sometimes I wonder why I love my cars like I do even though they're both a pain in my a$$!!.
The LS is down for a new transmission, it stopped working all at once. Parked it one night everything was fine, next morning fired it up and nothing...... Lots of debris on the magnet and the fluid is burnt. I've been a mechanic for 25 years and getting the transmission separated from the 3.9 is a major PITA, the steel dowels sieze to the aluminum and make getting the 2 apart difficult. I've done several of these and every time it sucks. I'll post more pics as I go and BTW, am I the only one who thinks octostars on 245/50s look great on a LS?
