I sold my 2000 Lincoln LS back in 2005 and have just decided that I want another. I'll spend the next couple of months, longer if needed, finding the perfect one. Honestly, I'm surprised the wife agreed to this considering that I currently own 8 cars and trucks. My daily driver is a 2008 F350 Superduty 6.4 L diesel. I also have a '67 Mercedes 250S that I bring to car audio sound quality competitions, a beat up '97 Pathfinder that I use as my hunting truck, and then I own several old International Harvester trucks....a '71 Scout 800b Comanche, two '72 Scout II's, a '77 Scout Traveler, and a '74 International 200 Service Truck. I even own a 1949 International Harvester refrigerator in my shop. Yeah....I've got a thing for old International trucks. I know there are two Gens or Versions of the Lincoln LS but I don't know the differences yet. I'll be doing a bunch of research on this forum, reading a lot, and maybe asking a few questions. Considering the age of these cars and how much the prices have come down I can afford just about any stock model I find. Better than the $19k I paid for the used 2000 LS that I bought way back when. The only modifications I made to my last LS were 18" rims with 245/40ZR18 tires and an Eibach Pro Kit. The stance was perfect in my opinion. Low enough to take away the gap but not so low that I had clearance issues. I'll definitely be going that route again. I'll of course be doing a massive audio build as that has been my profession for over 25 years.
