B&B Cold Air Intake V6 V8 Gen I & Gen II

Anyone used these intakes from B&B before?

They claim to have V6 & V8 intakes for both the Gen I and Gen II Lincoln LS.

Sold by Global Autoshop (anyone dealt with them?)

Edit: I just sent them an email to see if they have a Gen I V8 CAI in stock, and if they can provide a picture of it... so we'll see how responsive they are...

Never heard of them, but I'm interested. The V6 doesn't have any other options I think since LSK isn't reliable anymore and all they had was the KKM.

i believe this guy has a ebay store... I tried contacting him to see if the first gen wrapped all the way around to the throttle body, but i could never get a clear answer....

Good find lsk is down and I was finally ready to get a intake and de idea not to, let us know what they say.

Well they did respond fast via email. I asked for a picture but didn't get one. Here's is what they said:

Yes, we have the air intake system available for your 2002 Lincoln LS.

The item is pretty much the same as pictured, but with different tubing and MAF adapter is included. Very nice.

I thanked them for their quick response. I asked again for a picture, and said I am not buying without seeing it first. I sent them their competition's pictures of their intake.

Well they are quick on the email responses, here's their latest email:

The intake tubing will connect onto factory MAF housing, so the throttle body hose won't be replaced. We are still working on the pic, when they become available, i can post it.

The intake tubing is kind of short ram, so you don't have to worry about water,dust, or dirts during rain/rough road condition. It's easier for maintenance / installation without hassle having to remove factory bumper. Very nice.

So... it's beginning to sound like the factory snorkel stays in place, and it's just a filter with a short tube and MAF adapter with heat shield to attach to the MAF.

I knew it was too good to be true, hopefully that other guy on ebay comes thru soon
